St. Andrews - PAR 3 / 134-145-165-172

This par three, the eleventh at St. Andrews, shares a double green with the seventh at the original course as part of the inward and outward links characteristics of golf’s birthplace. Another simple, straight forward design which can snare the simplest of shots with its steep elevated green and huge bunkers.

It was on this green that American golf legend Bobby Jones stormed off the green in anger during the 1921 Open demonstrating his disdain and disgust for the St. Andrews links. He later came back to win the ’27 Open title there and was given the treasured Freedom of the City medal in 1958.
