Western Gailes - PAR 5 / 423-495-526-566    This is a tribute to one of the more classic links courses in all of the world, Western Gailes and its par five 14th hole. Founded by a group of Glasgow merchants in 1898, it grew up in the shadow of its famous neighbors, Royal Troon and Prestwick, but has been compared to favorably over the years for its seaside design and overall toughness.    It has been labeled one of the top holes in the world by a national golf publication and is laid out much like a chess board. From the back tees of 566 yards, every successive shot must be considered like moves against a grand master with each route taken exposing the golfer to more danger and challenge.
