Machrihanish - PAR 4 - 328-365-401-423
The 6th hole is a tribute to the remote opening hole of the Machrihanish links, located on the Kintyre Peninsula, making it one of the most remote inland courses in Scotland. It features one of the original cape or risk-reward holes anywhere in the region. Players can cut off as much of this dogleg left as they feel is possible, hitting over the Atlantic shoreline, which is in play on the original layout.
The course was originally designed by Old Tom Morris, the patron saint of Scottish golf, who designed many of the courses in St. Andrews area.
